WELCOME TO OUR
GUEST HOUSE IN ZARZALEJO

Welcome to our guest house! We hope you enjoy a few days of rest and relaxation surrounded by nature. In this document, we would like to share some house rules and useful tips to help make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Our dogs are called Cacho and Pizca. Cacho is a bit shy around people at first, while Pizca is very affectionate. It is normal for them to bark a little when they first see you, as their job is to alert us to the presence of strangers, but they quickly get used to guests and will soon be happy to welcome you. We kindly ask that you do not feed them any kind of food.

Guest Registration (Important)

LThe latest update of the Spanish Royal Decree regarding documentary registration and security obligations, Royal Decree 933/2021 of October 26, 2021, requires digital platforms and hosts to provide additional information (such as booking details, host information, guest information, and accommodation details) to the Spanish national authorities (Ministry of the Interior).

For this reason, we kindly ask all guests to complete the following form before check-in:

Entering and Leaving the Property

We will normally be here to welcome you. Otherwise, we will provide you with an access code for the property. To exit, there is a grey button on the wall to the right of the door. We kindly ask you to wait for the gate to close completely when entering or leaving, to avoid tempting the dogs to run outside.

House Rules

We kindly ask that you do not smoke inside the guest house. Smoking is allowed in the outdoor patio and pool area, but please always use the ashtrays provided.

As we live surrounded by nature, you may occasionally come across a small “creature” inside the house during your stay (especially in summer). These are usually harmless insects or small reptiles. We would appreciate it if you could avoid killing them and instead help them find their way outside whenever possible. If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

For mosquitoes, we provide a plug-in insect repellent that you may use whenever you wish.

Pets

Your pets are welcome. We kindly ask that they do not climb onto the sofa or beds. We recommend bringing a blanket or something familiar that they usually use, so they feel more at home. We would prefer that dogs are not left alone inside the guest house, to avoid possible damage to furniture or other items, and we also ask that you clean up after them.

As your pets will be sharing the space with our dogs, we will take a moment upon your arrival to introduce them properly so that everything goes smoothly.

Check in / out

Check-in: from 2:00 PM
Check-out: by 11:00 AM

Cleaning

You will find a broom, dustpan, and mop in the first cupboard located on the side of the guest house. It is important that you take out the rubbish to avoid unpleasant smells. You can dispose of it in the bins located on the main road, about 50 metres to the left as you leave the property.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is available from mid-May to mid-September. We usually clean the pool every morning, but due to its location, insects, leaves, and other debris may fall into it during the day. A pool net is available for you to use before swimming if needed. If you notice a bird or anything similar in the pool, please let us know immediately so we can remove it as soon as possible.

Visitors

Visitors are generally not allowed inside the property. However, feel free to ask us, and we will consider each case individually.
